A local man, Victor Princeton, put boxes at the entrances to Farmers Market, 316 E. 11 Mile Road, and is urging people to put canned goods inside. He plans to donate the goods to Gleaners to be used for Thanksgiving meals. The market is open 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sundays.
