OCC Offers Classes on QuickBooks Accounting System

Everything you need to know about QuickBooks software is available through two new courses offered by Oakland Community College’s Continuing Education.

Two levels of QuickBooks Version 2012 will be offered at the Auburn Hills Campus in April.  For those interested in getting started by learning basic accounting terms and functions, OCC offers Level 1, Thursday, April 19, from 9 am to 2:30 pm.

QuickBooks Level II is designed for individuals that have a basic understanding of how to record sales and expenses, but would like to learn more advanced features such as inventory, sales tax tracing and payrolls in a fast-paced environment.  Level II is offered on Thursday, April 26, from 9 am to 2:30 pm.

Each course costs $129 plus textbook, payable to the instructor on the first day of class.

The Auburn Hills Campus is located at 2900 Featherstone Road, one mile east of the Pontiac Silverdome.  Free parking is available in campus lots.
