Summer Day Camp Registration Begins Tuesday
Open registration for new Day Camp participants begins Tuesday. The Royal Oak Day Camp will be held at Royal Oak High School for nine weeks in June, July, and August.
Day Camp is a great chance to fill your summer with great fun like outdoor skills, games, crafts, sports, swimming and more. You can contact the recreation department at 248-246-3180 for more information.
Camp is open to youth who have completed kindergarten through age 12 (must be age five by Dec. 1). Campers are divided by age groups for activities. There is a 10:1 camper to counselor ratio.
Camp fee is $120 per week (non-residents pay a one time $10 fee). Camp hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. We have before and after care for working parents, 7:30-9:00 a.m. and 4-6 p.m., for a $25 weekly fee. There will be a $10 fee if a child is picked up late. Campers need to bring a sack lunch with drink every day; we provide daily snaks. Sign up for any number of weeks, our activities are always changing.
Requests for transfers or refunds may be made at least one week in advance (as space allows) less a $10 processing fee. Maximum of 45 campers per week. This program will sell-out.
