Have you ever seen beautiful and unique handmade papers and wondered how they are created? Would you like to learn to make your own paper with recycled materials?

Local Royal Oak Artist and SOAA member, Susan Massucci will demonstrate the Art of Papermaking at the January 7, 2013 meeting at 7 pm.

Massucci has a BFA degree with a concentration in Printmaking from the University of Massachusetts. While she will always have a love for printmaking, she is an artist with talents in multiple artistic media - acrylic painting and murals, pencil, pen & ink, watercolor, mixed media and collage.

Being passionate about recycling and gardening has made it an easy transition for her into this simple process. Come be "Creatively Green."

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 814 N. Campbell Road, Royal Oak, MI 48067. 

Campbell Road is ½ mile west of I-75 and the church is between 11 and 12 Mile Roads.  Free lighted-parking is on the north side of the church, as is the entrance to the meeting.

The meeting starts at 7:00 pm and usually concludes by 9:00 pm. All artists and art lovers are invited to this free event. Refreshments will be served.
