Water Works to Honor Founder & Chairman Ed Nahhat with 'Best Friend' Award Friday
Water Works Theatre Company announces that it will honor its founder and chairman Ed Nahhat with the company's Best Friend Award prior to the 8 p.m. performance of Henry V Friday, August 3 in Royal Oak's Starr Jaycee Park.
Water Works board of directors has bestowed the company's Best Friend Award to significant volunteers or donors each year since the company's first production in 2000. This year the company will honor its founder, Edward Nahhat for his 12 years of dedicated service to the non-profit organization. Nahhat has been instrumental in building his vision for a professional theatre company in Royal Oak into a full outdoor summer festival with three theatrical productions and two educational programs employing hundreds of local professional and emerging professional artists.
Water Works 12th Annual Shakespeare In The Park takes place in Starr Jaycee Park - 1301 W 13 Mile Road, Royal Oak MI 48073 now through Aug. 12.

For performances, guests can bring blankets for near the stage lawn seating, low-to-the-ground lawn chairs, or choose seating in the Water Works bleachers. Pre-show picnicking is allowed in Starr Jaycee Park, but not in the theatre area. Convenient parking is available in the park's paved lots within walking distance of the Water Works outdoor stage. Beer and Wine will be available this season at performances of Henry V in the theatre area with proper identification.
