Curriculum Tops Tonight's Royal Oak School Board Meeting Agenda
The school board meets tonight at 7 p.m. in the Board Room in the Board of Education building
Royal Oak residents are invited to hear an update on the school district's curriculum and instruction as well as express their thoughts duirng public comment during tonight's regular Board of Education meeting.

i would like to see more history of Royal Oak, and Michigan history taught in the classrooms at an early age, most children aren't learning this these days.

Michigan history is started in 3rd grade.

I would like the Bus Service reinstated, since the school continues to have the late starts and half days. Families work and have no one to pick up a child at 11:00 in the afternoon or drop off at 9:30. The school plans on spending money on changing the books to ebooks how about ensuring the students make it to and from school safely without having to walk 3 miles in the cold.

More art in the middle school would be great. Most universities are telling high school counslers the kids need to be more creative.
