Nadir Zara and Katie Anselm are Woody and Jessie from the Toy Story movies. The costumes were made at home including a made-from-scratch "Bullseye" stick pony, sewing cow print panels to jeans and yellow panel to a white dress shirt for Jessie, and a cow print vest from scratch for Woody. We even had ANDY written on the bottom of our boots. Woody's, of course, was written with the N backwards, just like in the movie!
I'm Khary and my costume is 50 Shades of Gray. I put 50 paint swatches on my shirt. The tie, handcuffs and mask (which are on the cover of the books) help people understand that didn't right away. The riding crop was the chery on top.
The other 20 gray paint swatches are on the back.
From left to right: Jason Rivas, Sharon Rivas, Paul Spence, and Katie Spence as characters from the movie Labyrinth.
