Funeral services for Jordan Siegel and Ashley Siegel, the Royal Oak siblings killed in a car accident Friday afternoon, are planned for Tuesday in Farmington Hills.

The service begins at noon at the Dorfman Chapel, 30440 W. 12 Mile Rd.

Friends and family can begin arriving up to 90 minutes prior to the service. The Siegel family will be receiving mourners in a separate room prior to the noon service.

Once the service is over, the family will go directly to Clover Hill Park cemetery in Birmingham.

Jordan, 14, and his sister, Ashley, 11, were killed Friday when the SUV driven by their stepmother, Dawn Siegel, rolled several times along southbound U.S. 23 in Pittsfield Township shortly before 3 p.m., according to Michigan State Police, Brighton Post. Siegel told police another vehicle cut her off and she swerved into the median to avoid the other vehicle, but was sideswiped. Five other members of the family were injured.

The students attended school Upton Elementary and then ROMS in Royal Oak, where they lived with their mother, Christie Siegel. They also spent time at their father's home in Novi, where he lives with his wife and additional children.

Royal Oak Middle School will be open Monday to provide support and assistance to students grieving the loss of their classmates.
