‘Hungry for Change’ at Royal Oak Main Art Theatre Sept. 26

One-time screening followed by live Q&A with film's award-winning producers & health guru David Wolfe

We all want more energy, an ideal body and beautiful, younger-looking skin.  So what is standing in our way?  Find out on Weds., Sept. 26, when Royal Oak-based Heal Yourself Institute hosts a screening of the new film, "Hungry for Change," from the producers of the acclaimed documentary, "Food Matters."

The screening takes place at 7:15 p.m. at the Royal Oak Main Art Theatre and will be followed by a live-via-Skype question and answer session with the film's producers, James and Laurentine Colquhoun, along with nutrition and longevity expert David Wolfe.

In the riveting style of its award-winning predecessor, "Food Matters," which showed how our food choices determine our health and wellbeing,  "Hungry for Change" tackles the myths promoted by mainstream  media and the multi-billion dollar food and diet industries. The film shows how many of the “health foods” we eat keep us locked in the cycle of dieting and poor health and how we can take control of our appearance, our health and ultimately our lives.

Featuring interviews with  Jamie Oliver, Dr. Christiane Northrup, David Wolfe, Dr. Joseph Mercola, Kris Carr and others, "Hungry for Change" ed ucates about the foods we consume while empowering viewers with practical and realistic solutions.

"Your health is in your own hands," emphasizes Heal Yourself Institute founder Andrea McNinch.  "Come for a first look at this inspiring film and a rare chance to talk with the experts afterwards, live and on the silver screen!  You'll leave with tools to transform your life."

Tickets are just $5 and are on sale now at the Main Art Theatre box office and theatre website, http://tinyurl.com/hungryforchangedetroit2012.  Seating is limited and advance purchase is recommended.  The theater is located at 118 N.  Main St. in Royal Oak.
