Tell us a little about yourself, your interests, your accomplishments, what's important to you.

I grew up and have lived in Royal Oak pretty much my whole life. I enjoy sports and I am a huge Tigers fan and Chicago Bears fan. My family is very important to me. My overall health and losing the weight is very important to me, too. To date, starting from my heaviest recorded weight in January, I have lost over 60 pounds on my journey to lose over 200 plus pounds.

What do you do for a living?

I work for a law firm in the IT Department.

Why do you like to blog and what subjects are your favorites to write about?

I love to blog as a release for myself to get what’s ever in my head at the moment out or to get something off my chest. I use it as a tool for accountability in my weight loss and to showcase my wonderful family. My blog mainly consists of family, life and weight loss.

Do you have a favorite quotation?

"The difference between CAN and CANNOT are only three letters. Three letters that determine your life's direction"

Do you have a favorite Royal Oak hangout?

My fave hangout would have to be . I've been going there ever since playing Royal Oak city baseball (ROBF). Back then as our team was sponsored by Jimi's. Now it's a common place to treat the family for dinner from time to time.
