Family operated Food Palace. At Food Palace you can pick up that one item you need right away. They have a good selection of groceries, fresh veggies, deli, small bakery section, beer/wine, lottery and hot foods, such as sandwiches, paninis, pizza, soups, salads and more.
They're your one stop market.

Have been shopping at the "Welch's Hollywood Market for 40 years. Love the fresh meat counter, and quick carry outs in the deli section, and especially their "competitive' prices. The weelch family also makes large contributions to local charities in Royal Oak. Another family owned and operated business

Yes, Holiday Market is great, and they're pastries are best in town. They put Astoria's offerings to shame.

Hollywood on Main Street! It is the best!! They have great prices and wonderful selection. But most importantly, the staff are incredibly nice and helpful!! I recently went in with my two small children and was quickly greeted by an employee who said, "You know, we'd be happy to help you if need it! Just let us know!" They've also offered to help me carry out my groceries on numerous occasions. You just can't ask for better than that!

I nominate HOLLYWOOD MKTS for the best grocery store. Hollywood mkt has the best/freshest meat counter with the friendliest employee's to serve you. The prices are reasonable, aisles are always clean and well stocked. I would never consider shopping anywhere else! I shop the Hollywood in Royal Oak on Main st. btw...check out their facebook page for their awesome "Mega Deals".

The one and only Royal Oak Hollywood Market on Main Street. It's a staple in my life! Bring back all types of memories from my childhood and has the best meat in town.

I remember decades ago when Holiday Market was nothing special at all. They sure have become a great place to shop. It's a little pricey, but they carry great things. Hollywood is pricey just for pricey's sake (and I used to work there... AND my son's grandfather is a Hollywood manager - just don't think they're all that great for the most part).

Hollywood is my favorite! And, I wouldn't have said this a couple years ago, but the Fresh Approach on Campbell is under new management, and they've improved significantly. Prices are still on the high side compared to larger stores, but they've increased their inventory, got some new, friendly help and managers, and it's not so bad anymore.
