I would like to nominate my church, Royal Oak First United Methodist Church as an outstanding church with commitments to the community. We are involved in many activities and support such events as Oak Apple Run, Holiday Parade, Arts Beats and Eats, to name a few. We also have a 5 day a week open door sack lunch program. We are a family friendly church, welcoming all to our doors. I don't see a category for this among your "favorites" list so I thought I would send it along pointing out one of Royal Oak's "unsung heroes"

One of the newest and best Fellini's Pizzeria on Washington, Woodfired Neopolitan licensed pizzeria with imported fresh from the mountain ingredients and 00 Caputo flour pushes these delicious pies over the top. NO canned pre sliced olives. or anything else canned found here. Reasonable too!
