TCF Bank Robbed Twice this Month by Man Wearing Mask

For the second time in March, a man demands cash at the Crooks Road bank.

A mask-wearing man robbed the  at Crooks and 12 Mile Road in Royal Oak on Monday – the second time in March that branch was robbed.

According to Royal Oak Police, a man walked into the branch at 1800 Crooks and demanded money from a teller. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

The robber is described as a white man, 6 foot 3 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans, black gloves, white shoes and a mask over his face.

Bank robbed two weeks ago

On March 13, a man approximately 6 foot 4 inches wearing a and gave the teller a note instructing her to give him all the money in her drawer, according to Royal Oak Police.

The suspect fled the scene, possibly in an older, four door, maroon Chevy Blazer, with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The FBI is investigating the similar robberies. Calls to the FBI for comment were not immediately returned Friday.
