Dads are always ready to share practical advice on just about everything, from car care to child care and from manners to handling a difficult situation.

There’s nothing like a father to put everything in perspective. So we want to know: What was your father's best advice to you?

These words of wisdom can also include tips from your grandfather or other father figure. Sometimes they are serious, sometimes comical (at least to you). There always seems to be one or two things that kids look back and say, Yeah, Dad was right about that.

So share your tips and stories in the comments below and we'll pull together the best ones for a Father's Day wrap-up. Please also share your favorite photos of and/or with Dad. Just click on "upload photos & videos" on this article.

" You made your bed, now lay in it. " This was my dad's favorite saying and some sound advice. He was not an educated man but in his own way his wisdom was profound. It made me think about the consequences of my choices and decisions.
