Commissioners Pat Capello, Dave Poulton, and Jim Rasor: Their 4-year term ends this year.
It would be thoughtful of any one or more of them who have decided not to seek re-election to announce that decision early, to encourage those pending aspirants who won't run against an incumbent. Former commissioner Tom Hallock , now chairing the Planning Commission, made such a thoughtful move in 2005.
Hallocks's experience proved that becoming a lame duck on a local legislative body like CITCOM is not a handicap, so that shouldn't dissuade them.

Rasor has been the worst commission member since Bill Urich.

Rasor has made himself unelectable.
Capello will retain her seat if she runs.
Poulton is somewhere in between these two others. Most of the time he is pretty snug with Rasor. If he doesn't distance himself from Rasor, Poulton won't get reelected, either.
