Dr. Barry Franklin, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, will discuss how to prevent cardiovascular disease with tips from his book “Prevent, Halt & Reverse Heart Disease” on Sunday.
The book has been described as a truly comprehensive practical look at how to prevent our nation's biggest health issue.
Dr. Franklin is director of Cardiac Rehabilitation and Exercise Laboratories at Beaumont, Royal Oak.
The event is free and open to the public.
