Please join us for the monthly meeting of the Royal Oak Area Democratic Club. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Our guest speaker will be members of the "Women's Prison Group," an ad-hoc group of local women who visit women in prison and collect supplies to give to women when they are released from prison. We will collect items to donate to newly-released prisoners at this meeting; suggested items include women's toiletries, makeup or clothing that would prove useful for job interviews, and any other items that a newly-released prisoner would find helpful.
