New Earth-Friendly Products Store Opening!

With the new addition of the eco-lifestyle boutique, Our Greentopia, the exciting and busy Berkley shopping district continues to grow.  Located at 3165 12 Mile Road, snuggled in the block between Yellow Door and Amici’s pizza, and right next door to the quaint Second Hand Book Store, Our Greentopia is an earth-friendly shopping experience. 

This small family owned general store offers green living, organic, up-cycled, fair-trade, local artisan and non-toxic products selected for their quality as well as their earth-friendly merits.  You can find green gifts, green household and kitchen items, green bath and body products, green baby and youth clothing and toys, green cleaning products, green yoga gear, green adult clothing, jewelry and accessories and even such products as fair-trade and organic coffee and chocolate as well as boxed water – a little bit of everything but all green!

Our Greentopia is opening Labor Day weekend.  Their Grand Opening weekend celebration kicks-off Friday night at 6 pm with a free wine and cheese party and live music provided by a couple local high school musicians.  It continues Saturday and Sunday with free food, free chair massages and even a little face painting. 

Being a supporting and active member of the community is part of the Our Greentopia’s mission.  In that vein, they are donating 10% of gross sales made during their grand opening celebration weekend to the Berkley High School PTSA.  In the future, Our Greentopia will designate the first Sunday of every month as “Charity Sunday” with 10% of gross sales going to a local non-profit or school group.
