Have questions about the new Patient Protection and Affordable Care ACt and how it might affect you?
Get answers at the Royal Oak Public Library at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 when a representative of the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services holds a session on how the act will affect consumer and senior health coverage in the future.
The session will also address the new Health Insurance Marketplace.
The "New Health Care Law" session is one of several programs the Royal Oak Public Library offers in October. Visit ropl.org/events for details on adult, teen and youth programs.
The Royal Oak Public Library is in the midst of creating a strategic plan for the next five years and it's seeking input regarding the state of the library and on possible changes the community might want to see.
