An ice storm warning has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Detroit/Ponitac for parts of southeast Michigan from 2 p.m. this afternoon to 7 a.m. Sunday.

Freezing rain raining is expected along the I-69 corridor to near 8 Mile Road. For the City of Detroit and points south, just a cold rain is expected, according to NWS.
