Champagne Cruise to Benefit Forgotten Harvest is Friday

The 10th annual event ahead of the Woodward Dream Cruise will raise money to help feed hungry Metro Detroit families.

The 10th annual Champagne Cruise to benefit Forgotten Harvest will be held Friday at in Berkley.

The luxe event gives participants the opportunity to view classic cars on the eve of the as they sip champagne, enjoy appetizers and raise money to help feed hungry Metro Detroit families.

  • When: 6-10 p.m.
  • Where: in Berkley
  • Cost: Tickets, which are tax deductible, cost from $150 to $750 and can be purchased at forgottenharvest.org.
  • Why go: The Champagne Cruise features a preview of Woodward Dream Cruise classic cars, a champagne reception, tastings from Metro Detroit restaurants, live music and dancing, and an auction. Every dollar donated will enable the food relief agency to deliver five meals to Metro Detroit residents who otherwise would go hungry.
  • What else: Valet parking will be available and the dress code at the 21-and-older event is summer chic.
