Holiday Merriment Arrives Early in Royal Oak

Sumptuous food from area restaurants and caterers, a martini bar, an extensive gift bazaar and a full lineup of workshop on holiday entertaining and decorating combine to create a fun and inspiring evening for metro Detroiters on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., as the Celebrate the Season Holiday Extravaganza debuts at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. 

“The Celebrate the Season Holiday Extravaganza redefines the notion of a holiday gift fair,” states Bill Lonskey, event organizer with The Quintessential Event Company. “By infusing great food, fantastic cocktails and some truly informative and fun holiday workshops, attendees will enjoy something truly unparalleled.” 

Food options will include barbecue, soul food, vegan and vegetarian and gourmet offerings. Admission to the Celebrate the Seasons Holiday Extravaganza is free with advance registration at www.celebratemetrodetroit.com. A $5.00 per person admission will apply if you do not pre-register. 

A series of 45-minute workshops including topics like Stunning and Affordable Holiday Tablescapes, Crowd Pleasing Vegan and Vegetarian Holiday Fare, An Introduction to Gluten Free Holiday Baking, and Chef Inspired Holiday Hors d’oeuvres will be offered throughout the evening. Additionally, Paint Party Royal Oak will offer a 90-minute instructional paint-and-take experience.

All workshops are an additional $10.00 and beginning Friday, November 1, registration for any of our workshops will be available at www.celebratemetrodetroit.com. Based on space availability, you can also register for workshops at the event.
