Lutheran church schedules annual outdoor Dream Cruise worship and vacation Bible school wraps up as summer winds down.
Thank you, Lord, for all these cars
Bring blankets and lawn chairs and cruise into worship at Cana Lutheran Evangelical Church’s annual Dream Cruise Worship.
The casual outdoor worship service is at 10 a.m. Aug. 21, featuring musical guest Water to Wine.
Later in the day, bring lawn chairs and blankets to Cana Lutheran at 7 p.m. for the free concert, Sounds of Summer. The music will be provided by STAGE Youth Band and other Lutheran worship bands. Participating Lutheran churches include Cana, Emmanuel, Good Shepherd, Peace, Prince of Glory and Trinity. A concession stand will be open.

Last vacation Bible school of the summer
, 1717 W. 13 Mile Rd., will host PandaMania, a Vacation Bible School, from 9 a.m. to noon during the week of Aug. 22-29. Kids ages 4-12 years will enjoy stories, snacks, crafts, and games. A $5 donation per child is suggested. Register by Aug. 15. A registration form is available by calling the church office or by downloading the form from its website.
