In November 2011 we told you about Dylan Yates, a talented student with a knack for drawing and designing on the computer.
Dylan, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder, created a calendar with the help of Anna Lukezich, a former visual imaging teacher at the high Royal Oak High School. The proceeds from the calendar were divided among Autism Connections of the Judson Center, the Autism Society of America — Oakland County Chapter (ASA) and a fund for Dylan’s continuing education.
Though has Dylan graduated he's still creating calendars.
"Dylan's third calendar is hot off the presses," said Donna Yates, Dylan's mother. "Please check it out at www.dylanyatesart.com We hope this will lead to a microbusiness for Dylan and will allow him to become independent while sharing his creativity."
Fans of the talented artist can order the 2014 calendar at dylanyatesart.com or pick one up at The Yellow Door in Berkley.
