Santa to Stop By Royal Oak Post Office to Pick Up Letters

Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa is coming Dec. 14 to pick up those last minute letters.

Hey kids, before Santa makes his momentous ride on Christmas Eve, he's planning on stopping by the Royal Oak Post Office to pick up letters from boys and girls in Royal Oak.

He'll arrive at the post office, 200 W. Second St., with his eight speedy reindeer on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. and he'll stay until 12:30 p.m., according to letter carrier John Dick.

"He'll be joined by the Royal Oak Children's Choir singing carols to get you in the Christmas spirit," said Dick.

Children are encouraged to bring letters for Santa.

"Make sure your return address is on your letter," said Cheerful Bing-a-Ling, Santa's top elf, via email. "And parents should bring cameras to take photos of kids on Santa's lap!"
