The Norman O'Brien Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians hosts the parade in downtown Royal Oak.

The streets of Royal Oak will turn green on Saturday with the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade kicking off at 11:30 a.m. in downtown Royal Oak.

At 11:30 a.m., the parade of floats, clans, step dancers, bagpipers and community groups leaves Royal Oak Middle School, 709 N. Washington, and goes south on Washington to Seventh Street.

Parade organizers estimate approximately 300 participants and 2,500 -3,500 in attendance. You may want to get there early for a good spot.
