Where Do You Buy Your Christmas Tree?

Tell your neighbors where to get the best deal in Royal Oak.

One of the first items on some post-Thanksgiving shopping lists is the Christmas tree. Patch wants your help in telling neighborhood newcomers where to look for theirs in Royal Oak.

Do you go with the hardware store's selection? Prefer a smaller, impromptu tree stand in a parking lot or on a corner?

Here's some advice from Royal Oak Patch readers on Facebook:

  • Kimberly Middlewood: Shrines Dads Club: They are so helpful and we like what they do with the proceeds.
  • Karen Ann Purslow: HO-HO-HO: I trade them a homemade mostaccioli dinner with apple pie and get a deal on a tree. Started this years ago when my kids were all at home and I couldn't afford a nice tree. They're great!
  • Jeannie Dolson: I've gotten ours at Jim's Ice cream on 11 Mile Road, Sally's tree lot. Nice people and the young man even carried it home for me one year. (I walked over and it was heavier than I thought it would be!)

Where are the best looking trees? Who offers the best prices? Please tell us in the comments below, and post your pictures of trees you've put up for past Christmases.
