48 Hour Film Project Sets Schedule for Films to Screen in Royal Oak

More than 60 local teams made short films in just 48 hours as part of a global competition. Movies will be shown Wednesday and Thursday at the Main Art Theatre.

Filmmaking teams competing in the  successfully completed their weekend of filmmaking. Projects were turned in Sunday by sleep-deprived filmmakers from throughout Metro Detroit, rushing to get their films in on time. 

The film projects will be screened Wednesday and Thursday nights at the  in Royal Oak.

Mike Madigan, Detroit producer of the 48 Hour Film Project, released the following screening group listings, with groups listed in final screening order:

Place:  in Royal Oak

Tickets: $10 per screening block / $16 for both blocks same night / $25 for all four blocks Wednesday-Thursday.

The Landmark Main Art Theater in Royal Oak will be the screening location for all of the Detroit 48-Hour Film Project entries.

Tickets must be purchased at the Main Art Theatre box office; no online ticket sales are available. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the box office.
