Actors Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard Expecting a Baby

The Royal Oak Shrine High School grad and her fiance Dax Shepard of Milford say they won't wed until gay marriage is legal in California.

Kristen Bell, who graduated from Royal Oak Shrine High School in 1998, and her fiance Dax Shepard of Milford are expecting a baby, according to reports.

The actors, who don't plan to wed until gay marriage is legal in California, told PEOPLE.com they are expecting their first child in late spring.

“They’re so excited — they’re both ecstatic," PEOPLE reported a friend of the couple said. "Kristen had a little bit of morning sickness early on but she just started shooting the second season of House of Lies and is feeling great.”

"We're not going to have a party when half of our friends ... can't do that thing we're doing," Shepard said during the CNN interview. "We're not going to ask them to come celebrate a right they don't have. That's just tacky!"

Shepard, 37, stars in the NBC drama Parenthood and Bell, 32, also narrates Gossip Girl as the title character, according to the Associated Press.
