Ho! Ho! Ho! Time for some holiday magic.
The 9th Annual Holiday Magic Parade and 2nd Annual Santa Scamper (aka, Fun Run) comes to downtown Royal Oak the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Also known as "Santa's First Stop in Metro Detroit," this event is possible thanks to the help of several sponsors and volunteers.

The Santa Scamper gives children the chance to run the parade route before it begins. Proceeds benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Following the race, kids will receive a free Santa hat and hot chocolate.
