Children Read to the Dogs at the Royal Oak Public Library

Registered therapy dogs will be at the Library on Saturday, April 21 from 10:30 am - 12:15 pm to listen to children read to them in a one-on-one setting. It helps improve children’s reading skills because the dog listens attentively and does not judge, laugh or criticize.

Registration is required. Call the Youth Reference Desk at 248-246-3725 to sign up for a 20-minute time slot.
