Detroit Native David Alan Grier to Open Comedy Festival

The fourth annual Garden Fresh Laugh Detroit Comedy Festival opens tonight and continues through April 2 with an array of rising and established comic talents.  The Festival begins and ends at the Royal Oak Music Theatre, with Native Detroiter David Alan Grier starting it off and Bob Saget bringing it to a close.  Interim nights will be held at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle and will feature Auggie Smith (March 28), Brian McKim and Traci Skene (March 29) and Karen Rontowski (March 30).  Lynne Koplitz will perform at a number of shows on March 31 and April 2.
