Time Capsule Art Session at Royal Oak Public Library

Children ages 5-10 are invited to participate in a work session for the Snapshot Royal Oak - 2011 Art Contest on Saturday, September 10 at 10:30 am. Collage and drawing materials will be available. Participants are encouraged to create 2D art works that reflect life in 2011 Royal Oak. The works may be entered into the Time Capsule Art Contest and Show at the end of the session. All entrants will have their art displayed at the Library and their names will be included in the time capsule to be buried on Oct. 1, 2011. Photos of contest-winning entries will be  included in the time capsule. For more information about the art contest, pick up the flyer and application form at the Library or from ropl.org.
