Get Out: Comedy, Art and Salsa

Outdoors the temperatures are rising and summer is in full swing. If you're looking to break out of the monotony here's a few things going on this weekend that promise a fun evening.

Why go:
Warren B. Hall is a high-energy comedien who has opened for Dave Coulier, Lewis Black, Frank Caliendo and Tommy Davidson. Come out to the Comedy Castle for a good time and hilarious comedy.

Where/when: Friday 12 a.m., 
Why go:
This week's midnight madness at the Main Art Theatre will feature Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If you were a child of the 90s this will definitely be a fun film to go see. Turtle Power!

Where/when: Saturday 6 p.m., 
Why go:
323 East always features fantastic artists and has a penchant for showcasing great creative and spirited art. Beautiful Monstrosities opening night will feature the art of Detroit artists Audrey Pongracz and April Segedi.

Where/when: Saturday 8 p.m., 
Why go:
Cut Copy is an electronic band from Australia, they have toured with artists such as Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party and Junior Senior. If you're a fan of electronic music, this is definitely a band you'll want to check out.

Where/when: Sunday 9:30 p.m., 
Why go:
Spice up the night on Sunday with Salsa dancing at Sangria. The crowd is always fun and energetic, the music is electric and the drinks and food are tantalizing and terrific.
