Get Out: Music, Restaurants and Lettuce Rock!

Spring has sprung and warm days are sure to be in our near future. Here's a few things going on this weekend that promise to be a fun time.

Where/when: Downtown Royal Oak

Why go: The participating restaurants will be offering a special discounted rate for a three-course menu. This will be a great opportunity to try something new and flavorful.

Where/when: , 319 W. Fourth St.;
Friday 8 p.m., 21 and up
Why go: The Novi Oaks Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will be hosting a masquerade ball fundraiser. The ball will feature a DJ, strolling entertainment, art gallery, a candy buffet, hors d'oeuvres, raffles, vendors and more.
Pricing: $77 in advance, $87 day of show

Where/when: , 316 E. 11 Mile Rd.;
Saturday 5 p.m.
Why go: Lettuce Rock! will be a fun event for the whole family, featuring music, food, beer, wine, a silent auction and kids activities. Bands performing include the Beggars, the High Strung, the Polish Muslims, the Candy Band and more. This will be a fundraiser for the Royal Oak Community Farm.
Pricing: $5 

5. THE CROWNED HEADS OF RHYTHM

Where/when: , 222 Sherman, Sunday 7 p.m.
Why go:  The Crowned Heads of Rhythm's electronic lounge style of music has a funk edge and head-nodding beat. Goodnite Gracie offers specialty martinis in a lounge atmosphere.
