Jingle Bell Jazz at Farmers Market

Royal Oak High School Instrumental Music program presents it's Fifth Annual Jingle Bell Jazz, Dec. 13 at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market.

Jazz is alive and kicking at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market Dec. 13 with the students from Royal Oak High School (ROHS) Jazz Band showcasing their talents. Also featured will be performances by the ROHS Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo, and the Royal Oak Middle School Bull Dog Jazz Band.

Coming off a major performance opportunity at the Michigan Music Conference at the beginning of the year and scoring a "1" at the MSBOA Jazz Festival, Mr. Jensen is excited to put the Jazz Band groups out there for the  public to enjoy.

"Performing at The Michigan Music Conference is like the Superbowl for High School Music programs, and our Jazz Band has never been better." says Mr. Jensen. "Our goal is to become the community Christmas party in the City of Royal Oak. Live Big Band Jazz is so rare. For those who love to dance, or just love to listen to some really good, classic Big Band music, the Farmer's Market on Dec. 13 is the place to be!"
