Royal Oak Artist Market to Showcase Local Talent

Royal Oak Artist Market Show & Sale starts with a preview party.

The show is set in Royal Oak’s Historic Farmers Market and offers a unique blend of fine art and fine crafts. The show is in its second year and attracts artists from around Michigan and Northern Ohio. Art work will be for sale in many categories including: drawing, painting, photography, clay, collage, glass, metal, wood, jewelry, leather/fiber, and mixed media.

Friday evening’s Preview Party will see the artists and guests entertained by Cello-Bella! a favorite group of local musicians, and features a silent auction with items donated by the artists, with a portion of proceeds going to help benefit local charities. The party will also feature light fare from Royal Oak downtown restaurants.

The dates for the Show & Sale are:

  • Friday, Mar. 2: 2-8 p.m. with preview party 5-8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Mar. 3: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We think the artists will enjoy jumpstarting their summer art fair season with an indoor climate controlled event.

Royal Oak Farmers Market is located at 316 East 11 Mile Road, Royal Oak, MI at the corner of 11 Mile Rd and Troy Street in downtown Royal Oak.  The market is 1 ½ miles west of I-75, 1 mile north of the I-696 and about 1 ½ miles east of Woodward Ave.

This is a juried fine art show sponsored by the Royal Oak Artist Market and City of Royal Oak Farmers Market. For more information please call Shelly at 248-246-3078.

The Royal Oak Artist Market Show & Sale offers an excellent opportunity to purchase an original item for your home, office or as a gift. Food concessions will be on site for lunch and dinner. No animals are allowed in the Artist Market Show.

A portion of proceeds from the show will help support Camp Casey (children with cancer) and Royal Oak Arts Council.
