Royal Oak High School Marching Band Earns First Division Rating

Band Director David Jensen is pleased with hard working group of students.

The Marching Ravens earned a First Division rating at the MSBOA District IV Marching Band Festival on Wednesday night at Royal Oak High School.

"With a large percentage of the band being freshmen, I'm especially pleased with the First Division rating," said David Jensen, the band and orchestra director. "This has been a hard working group right from day one."

The marching band has endured two rainy home games this fall, while performing admirably and cheering for the football team until the last play, Jensen said.
