Rasor, along with Commissioner Kyle DuBuc, requested Royal Oak draft a broad human rights ordinance last November.
"It's a municipal best practice," Rasor said at the time. "This is the best tool we have to ensure we're including best and the brightest."
Gillanders is a spokesperson for Royal Oak Voting AGAINST Prop A Special Rights, which is urging a "no" vote on Proposal A on Nov. 5.
