B Spot Burgers Plans Second Metro Restaurant in Royal Oak

Iron Chef Michael Symon's B Spot Burgers opened last weekend in Rochester Hills. Now, a second metro location is planned at 310 S Main St. in Royal Oak.

A mid- to late-fall opening is planned for the Royal Oak location of the franchise. A lease has been signed for a building at 310 S. Main St. that formerly housed Gemmayze, the city of Royal Oak said on its Facebook page.

B Spot Burgers is a more casual version of Roast, Symon’s upscale restaurant Westin Book Cadillac Detroit. The 8,000-square-foot venue that has won a bevy awards for its chef-inspired menu and beer selection, including Restaurant of the Year accolades from the Detroit Free Press.

In Rochester Hills, the burger cafe is located in the Village of Rochester Hills outdoor shopping center at 176 N. Adams Road. Seating for 100 includes a bar and outdoor patio.
