Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza Signs Lease in Royal Oak

Built-To-Order assembly line pizza concept comes to downtown Royal Oak.

Blaze Pizza will soon open a location in the heart of downtown Royal Oak on the first floor of 112 S. Main Street.

The 3,900 square foot fast-casual, build-your-own artisan pizza restaurant is scheduled to open in mid-October with 80 interior seats and additional patio seating facing Main Street. The restaurant is not requesting a bistro license.

The Royal Oak restaurant is part of a plan to build 10 Blaze Pizzas in metro-Detroit and throughout Michigan. Pasadena-based Blaze Pizza currently has approximately 20 restaurant locations throughout the country.

“We’re thrilled by the positive response our concept has received, and are excited to be opening our first restaurant,” said Rodney Walker, president of Blaze Midwest, Inc. in a press release.  “We’re looking forward to bringing fast-casual pizza to the market and showing Michigan what it has been missing.”

Blaze Pizza uses an assembly line format to create artisan pizzas for only $6.95. Guests watch as they travel down an assembly line to create a signature pizza or design one of their own choosing from over 40 toppings.
