5-Story Development, Shopping Center on Planning Commission Agenda

The Planning Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Royal Oak City Hall.

The Royal Oak Planning Commission will tackle a busy agenda at its meeting 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

The commission will review applications from:

  • South Main Lofts, LLC — special land use and site plan to permit construction of 5-story mixed-use building with ground-level retail sales and 48 upper-level multiple-family dwelling units (South Main Lofts) at 855 S. Main St.
  • Beaumont Hospital — special land use and site plan to permit expansion of helipad for hospital 
  • A.F. Jonna Development & Management Co. — site plan to permit construction of 13,200-sq. ft. shopping center (Normandy Shoppes) at 4000 Crooks Rd.
  • 400 Main, LLC — site plan to permit use of existing parking areas of 400 N. Main St. as off-street parking for restaurant and bar (Hamlin Corner) at 376-386 N. Main St.
