Drink Pink for Breast Cancer Research

Get something pink to drink and help fight breast cancer. An added bonus is participants in the Pink Ribbon Martini event may just win a 1.06 carat brilliant cut diamond.

and are teaming up this month in an effort to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. The partners are just six blocks away and have a plan to let patrons take part in this effort.

During the month of October, every time a Pink Ribbon Martini is ordered at Lily's, patrons can pick a stone from the restaurant's giant martini display. Then, participants can simply visit the folks as Chinn Jewelry to see if the rock they have chosen is just a cubic zirconia or the lucky winner. In addition, Lily's will make a $1 donation to the fight against breast cancer for every Pink Ribbon Martini sold.

Don't like martinis? Lily's says patrons can still support breast cancer research by purchasing a pink ribbon, which we will display on the back bar mirrors. The event will take place until 11 p.m. Oct. 31 and the winner will be announced Nov. 3.
