Epic Motion Shows Reel Deal Behind Chamber

Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce and its members get a boost from promotional video.

The Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce says a new video they are distrubuting will do two things: Help out local businesses and invite more to join the Chamber.

"The video's main goal is to elevate the Chamber and our members in the community," said Executive Director Shelly Kemp.

"There are many times when people who are unfamiliar with our Chamber or chambers in general ask what it is that we do," she said. "We thought that including interviews with a few members would help explain what it is that chambers can do for businesses."

A few local businesses are highlighted in the video, including Two Women and Hoe and , who explain the role the Royal Oak Chamber has played with their businesses.

The video also provides way to show off the work of its creator, Epic Motion, a Royal Oak photo and video studio specializing in weddings and events.

"Epic Motion actually contacted us to see if we would be interested in having them create a video for us to help promote the Chamber," Kemp said. "They wanted to do it to help the Chamber and to help get the word out that they do more than just wedding videos."

The Chamber is distributing the video on Facebook and various media outlets, she said.
