ROYAL OAK CHILI COOK-OFF SEEKS RESTAURANT PARTICIPANTS, AND SPONSORS

The Royal Oak Jaycees are seeking local restaurants and organizations to help them turn up the heat downtown this November.

The Jaycees will hold the third annual Royal Oak Chili Cook-Off at the Royal Oak Farmers Market from 5:30-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. Restaurants, businesses, community organizations and individuals are welcome to enter their chili into the competition to earn of one of several titles, including Best of the Best,Hottest and Most Creative.

Businesses and groups wanting to contribute in other ways can become an event sponsor, with several sponsorship levels available. Donated Items for the event’s silent auction — gift certificates of $25 and up, non-perishable products and gift baskets — are also welcome.

Proceeds from the Royal Oak Chili Cook-Off benefit the Boys & Girls Club of South Oakland County, the Royal Oak Animal Shelter and the Royal Oak Jaycees.
