Franklin Fine Wine Closes After Year Run

Franklin Fine Wine joins Cold Stone Creamery in announcing it will close its doors on Main Street.

After opening its doors in December 2012, Franklin Fine Wine announced on its Facebook page it will close its doors with the post:

"It is with great sadness that Franklin Fine Wine will be closing its doors in early January 2014. But we also wanted to inform you that everything must GO. Mix and Match cases of wine are 20% off (you can also save on one or more bottles); Cigars are 20% off when you purchase 4 or more; all equipment, fixture and computers are on sale, EVERYTHING MUST GO. Don't miss out on these sales."
Manager Mike Larranaga, a southern California native (La Jolla, a suburb of San Diego) told Patch last year the 7,500-square foot store would have $1.5 million worth of inventory on hand when he got it fully stocked. Now a sign on the window reads "Everything Must Go."

The property at  511 S. Main St. used to be an auto parts store that was built in late 1930s and sat vacant for years before Franklin Fine Wine moved in.

Franklin's Facebook post follows Cold Stone Creamery's announcement it's also leaving town.
