Fuel Report: Gas Prices Continue to Fall

Drivers are paying another 13 cents a gallon less than last week, with prices down to $3.48 at many gas stations.

In good news for holiday travelers, gas prices continue to drop. The average cost of a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.55, down 13 cents from a week ago and 22 cents from a month ago, according to AAA's daily fuel gauge report.

That's a nice drop from the high of $4.23 a gallon in early May but still 72 cents more per gallon than drivers were paying a year ago, according to the report.
