3. Go wedding invitation shopping or browsing. Down the block from Gayle's,  offers a wide variety of custom invitations fit for a princess. "The possibilities are endless," sales associate Megan Wujcik said. Wujcik said charcoal colors are very popular right now. No appointments are required to browse the store's large supply, including envelopments and mix and match design line.

4. Adorn yourself in jewels, hats and fancy purses! A visit to on Fourth Street can provide more than enough regalia to spend the day feeling rather royal. 5. Skip the coffee shop today and juice up your laptop at on Fourth Street. This true tea shop offers everything from Oolong to tea pots. Although Goldfish focuses on Chinese teas and tea culture, just the thought of losing yourself in thought while sipping tea sounds much more royal. The owners and employees are extremely friendly and helpful and willing to help even the novice choose, steep and pour the perfect cup of tea - just like the Brits do.

6. Have a little cake. An entire wedding cake might be a bit much, so why not indulge today in a fancy cupcake for one, or shared between a prince and princess? Royal Oak has three cupcake shops and all have daily inspired creations. If you are downtown, visit the new Taste Love Cupcakes on Main Street. If you are toward the north end of town, stop by Just Baked on Woodward or on Crooks near 13 Mile Road. c also has freshly baked macroons, which sounds like a fancy addition to the royal day.
