As a crowd waited outside on a cool, overcast afternoon, excitement filled the air at the ribbon cutting to oficially open the Emagine Entertainment complex Monday in downtown Royal Oak.
State Rep. Jim Townsend; Hy Safran and Alex Greenfield from Congressman Gary Peters' office; Corinne Khederian from state Sen. John Pappageorge's office; Royal Oak Mayor Jim Ellison, Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shelly Kemp and Royal Oak Chamber President Andrey Tomkiw were among the dignitaries in attendance.
