What makes the sneakers so special?

Another reason why shoppers are willing to pay 400 percent more than the original $245 price tag for the shoes at Burn Rubber is the resale value. Nike said it only released 5,000 of the Yeezy IIs and they are selling for $1,000-$3,000 on eBay. TMZ reported earlier in the week that one pair was going for nearly $90,000 online.

They are also designed by Kanye, a major style icon. So, move over Air Jordans, there’s a new shoe in town.
